How do you keep yourself organized?
Trello cards run my business from an idea and action standpoint. It’s made my life a lot easier because it allows me to communicate with my team and assign tasks. Trello syncs to Hubstaff which my employees track time to. Then I understand the exact amount of time various tasks are taking and what each person is working on. In terms of deciding what is the actual priority of the various tasks that we start, I’ve written about that process here – http://blog.hubstaff.com/business-goals/
How do you adapt to a new working environment?
I’ve worked in the same environment (home) for the past 7 years, so I don’t really adapt to anything new. My goal is to work remote wherever I feel like working and is the most productive for me.

What was the last project you were working on?
I ran an SEO software for about 5 years. I was a co-founder of the company.
What was the biggest challenge in your life? How did you manage to solve it?
The biggest challenge in my life was a feeling of unhappiness and being unfulfilled as I entered the working world. I really wanted more for myself but didn’t know how to get it. I solved this by starting my own web company.
How does a typical work day look like?
At this point a typical day is more about management of the team. I try to work on my own work items for about 2 hours a day and the rest of the day is about organizing and managing projects that my team is working on. Mostly that entails testing or giving feedback on what they present to me.
What are your biggest accomplishments?
Voted top 40 under 40 in Indianapolis (2011) and Top 35 under 35 in Arizona (2008). But that is very small when compared to what I am doing in my daily life building up the Hubstaff business. Each customer is an accomplishment. And going even further, what I do with my kids and family and being able to spend a lot of time with them at my age is probably my largest accomplishment.
